Missed Classes:
A student that missed a class due to illness or any personal reason will be able to make up the missed class within a 2 month period. There will be no discount or refund given for missed classes. Students are also welcome to participate in "make-up" classes if the studio is closed due to Holidays or inclement weather. Please call our office (562-DANCE/562-3262) for a schedule of classes that would be appropriate for your child.

Class withdrawal Policy:
Early withdrawl from a class before the completion of the year requires a 30 day written withdrawl notice to DancEnergy. Please do not leave a phone messgae or rely on the instructor to notify the office. The Parent/Guardian will continue to be responsible for tuition during the 30 day notice period.

Our Syllabus:
The syllabus at DancEnergy is set up so that students (age 7 and older) will usually spend a minimum of 2 years in each level (One year to be exposed to the curriculum, and One year to master the steps). This varies with individual students, some may take longer.

Dress Code and proper dance attire will be strictly adhered to in fairness to all students and to promote teamwork and discipline in the classroom. This is important for both attitude and observation of body movement. All classes are required to have a solid color leotard with tights.
  * Dance shorts/Ballet skirt may be work for Ballet over leotard/tights.
  * Dance shorts/pants may be worn for Tap & Jazz over leotard/tights.
  * Comfortable dance clothing may be worn for Hip Hop. Please do not wear street shoes for this class. It is required to wear a different shoes for this class. Please make sure the shoes you choose, have good support.
*If a student comes to class without tights, a new pair will be given to them and the cost will be added to their bill.
