Extra Activities

DancEnergy offers a one-time class that meets the requirements for the Girl Scout Dance Badge. DancEnergy Badge Programs range in length from 1-2 hours and can be completed in one or multiple sessions, and will include a demonstrations in jazz, ballet, modern and/or Hip Hop.

Girls can wear dancewear or loose fitting clothing, bare feet, or socks and will have the opportunity to participate in a classroom setting.

Badge programs are held on Saturday & Sunday's and must be scheduled in advance by calling 562-3262. Troop leaders may bring refreshments and hold a short meeting at the studio if desired. Troop leaders are also responsible for supplying the badges.

You may also consider holding a dance party at GROOVES during which the girls can teach troop leaders, family and friends some of the dances they learned at a previous badge session, or just perform for a "live" audience. Let them pick some music for open dance time and organize the event.

Fees:
  $13.00 per girl for 60 min. (1 hr)
  $16.00 per girl for 90 min. (1 1/2 hrs)
  $20.00 per girl for 120 min. (2 hrs)
