Dress Code and proper dance attire will be strictly adhered to in fairness to all students and to promote teamwork and discipline in the classroom. This is important for both attitude and observation of body movement.
If a student comes to class unprepared (without tights, no hair accessories, etc) we will give them the items needed and the cost will be added to your bill.
Every student must have their hair securely away from face (A bun must be worn for Ballet) and must follow the dress code for their respective classes. Ballet skirt may be worn for the combo classes ONLY (Black, Pink or White), NOT FOR BALLET 1, BALLET 2, and/or ADV. BALLET / POINTE.
Leotard colors:
Pre-School (ages 2, 3 & 4), all Combo classes: Black, Pink, Lavender, Light Blue)
Tap, Jazz, Lyrical (ages 7 and up): Black, Forest Green, Burgundy
Ballet: Black Leotard
Pre-School classes:
Leotard, Pink Tights, and Pink Leather Ballet Shoes
Combo Classes: Leotard, Tights / Ballet skirts may be worn
Intro to Ballet & Tap: Pink ballet shoes, Black tap shoes
Ballet/Tap: Pink Ballet Shoes & Tan Tap Shoes
Ballet/Tap/ Jazz: Tan Jazz Shoes, & Tan Tap Shoes
Ballet:
Black Leotard (any style), pink tights, Pink Canvas ballet shoes. White Alignment belt must be worn
Tap:
Leotard & Tights or Black dance pants/Dance shorts/Capri's, leotard/camisole
Tap Shoes:
Black tie up Tap shoe
Jazz:
Black dance pants/Dance Shorts/Capri's, leotard/camisole.
Jazz Shoes:
Tan Slip on Jazz Shoe
Lyrical:
Leotard & Tights
Shoes: Foot Undies
*Jazz, Lyrical and Tap students may “layer” w/dance shorts and pants.
Tights must be worn at all times w/leotard & dance shorts. Tights may not be worn over leotard!
Boys:
Black pants or black shorts and white t-shirt.
Shoes: (depending on classes taking).
*Black Ballet shoes,
*Black tap shoes
*Black Jazz shoes
Hip Hop:
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. You will also need a pair of sneakers (we ask that these shoes are not a regular every day pair of street shoes, as they can ruin the dance floor.
You may purchase all of your dance attire through DancEnergy!
One stop shopping, and you are assured that the items are within dress code.
It is highly recommended that you purchase your dance shoes & tights through DancEnergy.
We want to make sure your child's dance shoe properly fits, as well as make sure you are buying the correct color (many dance supply stores do not carry the exact color we use).
You may choose to purchase your leotard at Wal-Mart or Target, and that is fine with us. We just ask that you purchase the color that is recommended for your childs class.

All students are expected to behave respectfully towards their teachers, other students, and parents. Any student not following the rules of the studio or proper dance class etiquette will be asked to leave class for that day. If behavior does not improve in a timely fashion, the student will be asked to leave the studio and all monies are non-refundable.
Studio Rules
No street shoes, food, or drinks are allowed in the dance room.
We ask that your child wait inside the studio, until their parent/guardian has arrived.
All students must use a dance bag for their shoes, and they have their initials on the interior of all their dance shoes.
No parents or guests are allowed in the classroom during class or private lessons except if previously discussed with Director/Teacher
Students are not allowed in the dance room without their teacher. This is for safety reasons.
